MOA FOUNDATION...CHECK IT OUT

Have you ever visited a less privileged home...well i was opportune to go with friends on the 30th of September 2012 for the first time and i was stunned to see what it actually looked like.

It was different from what i heard about places like that...some people made it look like it was a school you were visiting, but my dear, it is way more than that. There was this connection i had with one of the children there and she had a mental problem, and all she wanted me to do was to carry her which i did. I did not care if she cut my beads on my neck because all she was doing was just holding on to them. With tears in my eyes i did not know when i kissed her fore head and she smiled and put her head on my neck...wow.

When i left the place, all i could think of was, how do they feel, so sure they want to be like us...some wish to know their parents, others want to be free mentally and physically...hmmmm.

Was meant to attend another home with Magaret Olajumoke Adebo (MOA) Cares Foundation on the 1st of October 2012 but it was in Lagos. They visited Modupe Cole Memorial Home and Care Center. It was said to be filled with loads of fun. Friends and volunteers of the foundation showered the home with various items that day...i sincerely wish i was there.

Ms Oyinkansade Adebo

The trip was to show love to those ones that have been neglected in the society during the independence and so the best way to fulfil that goal was to visit the home on Independence day.

MOA Cares foundation was led by the CEO, Ms. Oyinkansade Adebo and the NGO was founded to raise funds for the needy especially children, we take time out just to be around them.
