Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus is organizing a program for young ladies on the need to RUN FROM every temptation of running after men and money, the dangers of pre-marital sex and how to value their bodies as the temple of God.
The program, ADIVA happens to be the first she is organizing in Abuja and it is tagged "REAL TALK".
Stella Damasus who is a woman rights activist, mother and an intense lover of God got inspired to do a program such as this while she was in Liberia to represent the United Nations in World Food Programme. So as part of her itinnery she had to visit hospitals and she was taken to the female ward.
She saw girls in the ward between 10 and 14 and all were mothers. Their kids had HIV, some of them had Vesico Vagina Fistula,VVF, and some had surgery to repair the effects of the abortions that had been done.
And when she came back to the country, she met some ladies that were facing the same problems and she finally gathered the courage to set up ADIVA which is a mentorship programme that helps women and young girls to rediscover themselves, unlock their potential, find their inner strength and become the best they can, also using God's word.
She has done ADIVA in Cameroon and Liberia...but this time its going to be in Abuja at Savannah Suites, 8 Faskari Street, Garki, Area 3, Abuja, Nigeria's capital at 10am on Friday, 28 September.
It is tagged "REAL TALK". Come talk about God, Men, Sex, Money and everything between. Admission is free and it is strictly for FEMALES who are above 15yrs .
