He actually fears the talent content could have run its course after 10years on the box. He was quoted in a recent interview that in a year's time they might say that X factor should come to an end and that they may start something in development which could replace the X factor.
He actually still fumes that last year's was not the big smash that he wanted. Cowell has backed the current judging line-up of Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos to return for a second year.
