Nine-Year-Old Gives Birth To Baby Girl In Mexico

A nine-year-old girl in Jalisco, Mexico has given birth to a baby daughter and police are looking for the alleged father, a 17-year-old.
The unnamed girl gave birth to a healthy baby daughter, who weighed in at just under six pounds, last month at Zoquipan Hospital.
Police are now hunting the 17-year-old father who is thought to be on the run.
Mr Gonzalez said the girl’s family alerted authorities after she gave birth and the alleged father has not been seen since in the neighbourhood they both live in.
The mother of the girl reportedly told local officials: ‘The girl was just over eight when she got pregnant. The father is a boy who is 17, but we have not found him, since he ran away.’
He says that if the teenager’s paternity is proved he could face child sex abuse charges.
Mr Gonzalez says the girl told authorities the teenager was her boyfriend.
According to local media reports the new mother and daughter were released from hospital this weekend, following the birth on January 27th – but the hospital said it would have to do extensive follow-up due to the new mother’s age.

GRAMMY AWARDS 2013 BANS BREASTS AND BUTTOCKS

Indecent dressing has been effectively banned on Grammy Awards night which takes place on the 10th of February.

The stern warning was issued in light of the expected gratuitous displays of flesh typical of celebrities attending such big events as the upcoming 55th annual Grammy awards.

In an advisory issued by CBS through its standards and practices department, talents appearing in the show are warned against any plans of indecent exposure during Sunday's ceremonies. In a memo issued to the production, staff that handle these talents are asked to ensure "that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered."... hehehehe

Among the items that attendees are asked to restrain from are "thong-type costumes" and "sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples." Exposure of the "bare sides or under curvature of the breasts" and "buttock crack" are also prohibited.

This warning isn't just only for the onstage presenters or performers but even to audience members who will be seen on cameras. Lapel pins and other accessories alluding to any organized cause are also requested to be avoided.

Hmmmm... i really can't wait for that day so i could also monitor from my TV set.

Trey Songz Lagos concert postponed

Got some sad news for fans of Trey Songz, especially fans in Nigeria. Reports have it that he was billed to perform at a concert on the 14th of February but the concert has however been postponed.

This could have been his first time in Nigeria. Many will obviously be heart broken especially the female fans with the news that the singer will be a no show. No news yet from the show promoters on the reason why the fine RnB musician ain't coming again.

Some reports have it that the musician is currently busy with an upcoming reality TV show "Real Husband of Hollywood" with the likes of Mariah Carey's husband, Nick Cannon alongside with Robin Thicke, Kevin Hart, Boris Kodjoe, Jay Leno, Duane Martin amongst others.

Last i checked, Trey Songz is not married so whats up with this reality show? Anyways we are still expecting him in Nigeria.

CHECK OUT THE SONG OF THE DAY

And this song happens to be the best new song i got to listen to today.

A friend of mine sent it to me and as soon as i started to listen, the programs manager of Hot FM, Abuja was amused and he said "that sounds like a good song" and he asked for the song, and i gladly gave him.

On this song Dusten Truce talks about his ups and downs in the music industry, the struggle of being heard and basically the hustle of an average Nigerian artiste today.

This track right here is the first song off his Forthcoming E.P/Mixtape titled "The Truce Shall Set You Free" (T.S.S.Y.F) and it was released today, Wednesday 30th of January.

And why will you like this track? Well its because it is laced up on banging beat with a mad guitar progression and baseline.

Guess i dey yarn too much...download this track jare...lol...

For Stealing a China Blackberry Phone, Man Gets 3 Years in Jail without an Option of Fine

A 23-year-old man simply identified as Adepoju Jamiu has been sentenced to three years imprisonment for stealing a China BlackBerry phone worth N17,000.

Jamiu was sentenced by an Ikare Magistrate’s Court in Ondo state for stealing the phone from one Suleiman Asimiyi. This offence, according to police prosecutor, Aigbojie Amileomen, violates Section 383(1) volume one, of criminal laws of Ondo State of Nigeria, 2006.

The police prosecutor reportedly said the accused committed the offence in November 2012 at Olukare Central Mosque, Inu Odi, Okela, Ikare.
On his own part, the accused, without any fuss, pleaded guilty as charged and was subsequently sentenced to three years in prison without an option of fine by the Chief Magistrate, Sunday Adeniyan, who presided over the case.

This is funny, Mr John Yusuf, the director of the Police Pension Office was set free by a high court in Abuja yesterday after paying a N250, 000 fine after pleading guilty to converting N2billion of the police pension fund to personal use. Hmmm in this case he is meant to be jailed  for stealing such a huge amount of money...but instead he was granted bail after paying N250,000 fine while the man that stole a china phone will be sentenced to three years imprisonment...Naija, i hail thee.

AFCON 2013: PLAYERS THAT DIDNT MAKE THE LIST!!!

While Ivory Coast captain Drogba and the Toure brothers Kolo and Yaya and company head for South Africa, the likes of Samuel Eto’o, Demba Ba and Papiss Demba Cisse are missing out, forced to watch the action on television.

Ba and Cisse failed to join the party when Senegal were kicked out of the 2013 tournament by organisers CAF as punishment for crowd trouble which flared up at the qualifier against Drogba’s Ivorians.

Senegal’s disqualification must have been greeted with quiet relief, though, at the pair’s respective Premier League clubs.

While sorry to see Ba head to London, Newcastle manager Alan Pardew still has a Senegalese ace up his sleeve in the shape of Cisse.

While the Africa Cup showcases the cream of the continent’s abundant talent, joining Ba and Cisse on the absentee list is one of Africa’s biggest names in the shape of Eto’o.

With three World Cups and six Nations Cups under his belt, the Cameroon captain and his team will be sorely missed.

Cameroon’s shock defeat to Cape Verde in the qualifier also robs the 2013 Nations Cup of talented midfielder Alex Song, who moved to Barcelona from Arsenal last August.

As in 2012, the former continental kings Egypt have once again been excluded from the feast of African football.

The Pharaohs have suffered a startling dip in fortune since rattling off three consecutive titles in 2006, 2008 and 2010.

Their bid to qualify for 2013, against the sombre backdrop of the Port Said stadium disaster in February which cost the lives of 74 people, came to a premature end with a first round 4-3 defeat to the Central African Republic.

Their absence deprives the Nations Cup of such Egyptian luminaries as goalkeeper Esaam al Hadary, defender Wael Gomaa and midfielder Mohamed Abou Trika.

Of the teams who qualified, Ghana will have to do without the services of Marseille’s star midfielder Andrew Ayew and striker Yahaya Mohamed, who are both injured.

Morocco’s Queens Park Rangers’ midfielder Adel Taarabt, Arsenal’s striker Marouane Chamakh, on loan to West Ham, and Qatar-based midfielder Houssine Kharja all failed to make the Atlas Lions’ squad.

Hosts South Africa must do without retired midfielder Steven Pienaar, Mali’s Mahamadou Diarra is injured, while Nigerian duo Danny Shittu and Shola Ameobi declined their country’s call.

Another Split: Kollertunz Records Parts Ways with Flowssick

This news comes as a surprise to many especially as there was a reportedly good relationship between the Kollertunz boss, Kolawole Olugboyega and Flowssick.

Read the official statement below:
The management of Kollertunz Records would like to officially inform the general public of the termination of its management and working relationship with Abiola David Aina also known as “Flowssick” over protracted contract issues. Our organization took this decision in the face of unresolved and complex negotiations which had been one sided with little consideration for the part of the label after years of investment and long working hours done for the establishment of our former artiste.
Kollertunz Records is an organization that prides its self in believing and investing both financial and human resources for our artiste and their projects, needless to say we gamble and try to prove a point that we are not about the money but the success of our projects and investments.
We would like to state henceforth we have no formal business relations regarding flowssick and that he can be reach by any means he choose to. We trust that the management of flowssick will observe their pledge they made to the label.
This news, adding to the number of recent publicized splits between artistes and their record label, is worrying. We wish both parties the best.
