ABUJA CLUBS TELL DAVIDO,"GO"!

Reports have it that Davido was bounced out of Caribbean Club in Abuja for not abiding by the dress code of the club.  He came in with his clique and they were all dressed in tank tops...lol. So he got bounced.
Reports also have it that, that very night he was also sent out of Cubana, also known as Klub Vanity...i dont really know why but amebos say that Davido exchanged words with the bouncers before he left with his clique.
Well, all i know is that Davido and his clique are fond of wearing tank tops, he also wore a tank top even at AY's show yesterday, 17th of June 2012.
An advice to Davido, he should try, even if it seems so hard for him, he should really try to part ways with his lovely tank tops and embrace some clothing. We still have a mental picture of the tattoos...we love him either way, because as they say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

NYC club where Chris Brown, Drake fought is closed

Police have shut down the New York City nightclub where singer Chris Brown and rapper Drake's entourage got into a bottle-throwing brawl.
A New York Police Department spokeswoman says the club W.i.P in the city's SoHo neighborhood was closed Saturday night because of code violations. The NYPD gave no details on the violations.
Chris Brown, his girlfriend and his bodyguard were among eight injured during the fight inside the club last week. Police say members of Drake's entourage stopped Brown as he was leaving. The fight escalated and bottles were thrown.
San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker says he suffered a scratched retina during the brawl.

Thai culture chiefs go Gaga over singer's "offensive" show

Thailand's government has hit out at pop sensation Lady Gaga for a second time in as many weeks by filing a police complaint over the singer's "offensive" use of its national flag during her sellout concert last month.
The Culture Ministry said Gaga's use of the flag, tied to the back of a motorcycle while dressed in provocative outfit, was "inappropriate" and disrespectful to its people, a ministry official told Reuters, requesting anonymity because she was not authorized to speak to the media.
Lady Gaga performed before 50,000 fans in Bangkok on May 25 as part of a world tour that caused controversy in the Philippines and South Korea and prompted organizers to cancel her show in Indonesia after Islamic groups objected to her "vulgar" style.
The Grammy Award winner had already upset some Thais when she Tweeted to her 24 million followers upon arrival in Bangkok her plans to buy a fake Rolex watch at one of the city's ubiquitous street markets.

RIP YVETTE WILSON.

Yvette Wilson, a comic who was featured on the 1990s sitcom "Moesha" and its spinoff, "The Parkers," has died.
Her manager, Holly Carter, says Wilson died of cervical cancer on Thursday. Wilson was 48 and lived in Hollywood, where Carter said she had managed a music label and worked in real estate in recent years.
Wilson portrayed Andell Wilkerson, owner of the popular hangout The Den on "Moesha." The UPN sitcom starred the singer Brandy.
Wilson was a standup comic and was featured on "In Living Color." She also appeared in the movies " Poetic Justice" and "House Party III."

CHRIS BROWN HOSPITALIZED

R&BSinger, Chris Brown was hospitalized after reportedly having his face slashed open during a fight with YMCMB rapper, Drake. The singer was hit in the face with a bottle multiple times when the pair came to blows in New York Club last night apparently following an argument sparked by Rihanna who has dated both men.
Reports claim the fight broke out when Brown sent a bottle of champagne to Drake's table, which was quickly sent back with a message boasting about Drizzy having slept with Brown's Ex, Rihanna.
Brown immediately confronted the rapper and reportedly got punched in the face before being repeatedly hit with a bottle, opening a 2-inch gash on his chin.
Drake immediately left the club while Chris ended up hospitalized and needed stitches.

Jamaican dancehall and reggae superstar, Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques got married to his long time girlfriend Jodi Stewart in a lavish wedding last weekend in Jamaica.

Sean and jodi, a popular TV personality in Jamaica  have been dating since 2002 and got engaged two years ago . They are currently on honeymoon.

2FACE'S ALBUM LAUNCH CONCERT

Yesterday, 10th of June 2012 was a successful night for our Nigerian Musician, 2face who launched his album, "Away and Beyond". And the large turnout of people was awesome.

The show started early and ended a bit late but the crowd stayed till the end. First time in history. The whole seats in the auditorium were occupied and that of the gallery in Transcorp Hilton, Abuja . From the pix above you'll know a lot of people were there to support 2face Idibia.
Well the event was a successful one as he entertained the audience for over 2hrs non stop from with his new releases then to the old ones and also sang some Plantashaun songs with his brother from his brother from another mother, Faze.

Those who performed were the likes of funny bone, Akpororo, Vector, Jay Martins, Efa and so many up and coming artistes.

Those who came to watch were the high and mighty, 2face's parents, uncle, wife, Annie Macaulay and his daughter.
The turn out was record breaking even in the face of security challenges in the country.

Ghana's DKB and Sierra Leone's Zainab have been disqualified from star game for contravening the violence rule. When Big Brother made the announcement, DKB was in the Diary room while Zainab was curled in the Glass house.
Zainab was slapped by DKB because she was trying to peep while he was having a shower. After Big Brother reviewed the footage he then disqualified the 2 of them.
If you ask me, DKB as a man was not meant to raise his hand to hit Zainab considering her being a female. But on the other hand, Zainab could be really annoying sincerely.
The violence rule states that any housemate who becomes physically violent will be removed from the house immediately.
This means that Sierra Leone is officially out of the game while Ghana is now dependent on Keitta.

Following the Federal Government announcement to change the name of University of Lagos to Moshood Abiola University, in honor of the late politician. Students of the institution are protesting the change.
Some University of Lagos State students vented their anger through Hot 98.3fm's "Hot Campus Live" Correspondent, Deji Adeoba. They were disappointed at the sudden decision.
Reports have it that there is a protest going on in their school compound presently.

Today, May 29th, 2012 happens to be the 13th year of democracy and also a day the University of Lagos students will never forget in a hurry.

Guess you guys can remember the piece of prime cut couture that Lady Gaga unveiled at the 2010 MTV video Music Award. Well, turns out the concept hasn't been put out to pasture just yet. Lady Gaga tweeted a photo of herself, taken by infamous fashion photographer Terry Richardson, performing in a similarly themed, but shorter and tighter meat dress at her Born This Way Ball show on May 10 in Tokyo, Japan. To garnish it off, the superstar performed her song "Americano" while flanked by pretty fake-looking, albeit shudder-inducing animal carcasses.

PRESIDENT OBAMA SUPPORTS GAY MARRIAGE

President Barack Obama today became the first sitting president to announce support for same-sex marriage, making his position on the subject clear.
His history-making embrace of gay marriage could send far-reaching political aftershocks through a presidential campaign defined by voter concerns about the economy but likely decided by slivers of the electorate in a handful of battleground states.
A Democratic senator who supports Obama's re-election as well as gay marriage told Yahoo News that the president could face "significant electoral risk" if his announcement is merely a check-the-box exercise with no follow-through.
Richard Socarides, a leading gay activist who served as President Bill Clinton's top adviser on issues like same-sex marriage, said Obama "can help build a national consensus."

But really what do i feel about this? I think this is just pure STRATEGY...if you know what i mean.

BOB MARLEY LINGERS ON

Tomorrow marks the 31st anniversary of the death of music legend Bob Marley. The Jamaican reggae star died young in 1981, at just 36 from cancer, leaving behind a legacy that reaches across all musical genres, ages and around the world.
The New Zealand International Film Festival, which happens to be the country's biggest annual celebration of cinema will be screening the acclaimed music documentary Marley.
The 2012 festival, which starts in Auckland on July 19 and in Wellington a week later, won't have its final programme finalized until next month.
But organizers say Marley, which debuted at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year, is confirmed to screen.

But given the reggae legend's enduring place and influence (especially in New Zealand) Marley is sure to attract big numbers.
The film is directed by Oscar-winning Scottish director Kevin Macdonald. Though he wasn't first choice to make Marley. When American producer Steve Bing negotiated the music rights for a Marley film, the original idea was that Martin Scorsese would make the movie. Bing had produced and financed Scorsese's Rolling Stones doco, Shine a Light.
The full film festival programme is due out on June 27.

DAVIDO WILL PERFORM @ BIG BROTHER'S OPENING CEREMONY ON THE 6TH OF MAY 2012

The seventh season of Big Brother Africa tagged "Star Game" will commence on the 6th of May 2012, which is this Sunday. This is the first time entrants are pairing up to compete. Cash prize will be $300,000.
Fast rising music sensation, Davido will be performing on that day alongside artistes from Kenya, Malawi and South Africa.

Davido was actually booked to perform at "Night of a Thousand Laugh" in Abuja on the 1st of May 2012 which was on Tuesday. Reports say he didnt take the offer because of what they were offering in monetary terms, so they settled for Wande Coal.
Am sooooooooo sure people came for the show thinking Davido was going to be there. Well...too bad, he was not.

TYLER PERRY STUDIOS CATCH FIRE

Was shocked when i heard a large fire broke out at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta Tuesday evening, requiring more than 100 firefighters to respond to the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation,  No injuries were reported and the extent of the damage is not known.
Well funny enough Tyler Perry's huge studio complex in Atlanta, Georgia is still standing after four-alarm fire.

The Why Did I Get Married? filmmaker's complex -- a 200,000 square-foot studio, five sound stages and 400-seat theatre -- caught fire before 9 p.m., but no injuries were reported, and the structure of the largest building there remains intact.

Perry surveyed the blaze and spoke with fire department officials, but has not yet released a comment about the fire.
Tyler Perry Studios was moved into the 200,000-square-foot Atlanta facility in 2008, according to the “Madea” director’s Web site. The site houses five soundstages, a theater, a post-production facility and a back lot, as well as a chapel, pond and gym.

Yelx, you can say it again...CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...lol...this is Sauce Kid's new look and i am sooo loving it...He formerly had his hair plaited backwards.
His recent single, "CAROLINA" featuring Davido is something else...if it isnt played in any club or event I go to then there is a BIG problem...i also love the video too. To Be sncere i didnt like the song before but you know, when you hear a song over and over again, you become fond of it...well that was what happened to me fond of it.
Something i like about him is that e no dey feel at all...when i invited him to HOT FM Abuja for an interview, you should have seen what he wore...lol...PJ pants...

NIGERIAN COMEDIAN, AY SURVIVES CAR CRASH

We thank God for the life of Nigerian Comedian, AY who was involved in a car accident yesterday at ThisDay Dome Junction in Abuja. The blue car collided with  AY's silver car...(i can't even tell the brand of the cars).
The cars though badly damaged but could be repaired especially AY's silver car, if you ask me.

JENNIFER HUDSON WALKS OUT OF TRIAL

The trial in slaying of singer, Jennifer Hudson's family has begun. A prosecutor says the man charged with murdering Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew began threatening the family shortly after he left the family home in 2008.

The murderer who is Jennifer Hudson's former brother-in-law, William Balfour has pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree murder in the October 2008 slayings.

He sat with his eyes fixed on the murder-scene photographs on a screen, but he didn't wince or show other signs of emotion.

Several of the photographs showed Hudson's 57-year-old mother, Darnell Donerson, face down on the floor, a large blood stain where she was shot through the back.

Other photos showed Hudson's 29-year-old brother, Jason Hudson, with a gunshot wound near his ear, his head still on his pillow as he lay in bed.

Before prosecutors projected dozens of photographs of her mother sprawled on a living room floor in a blood-soaked, white nightgown and her brother shot through the head on his bed, the 30-year-old singer and actress left the room to avoid having to watch the disturbing images.

Hudson's sister, Julia Hudson, also left the courtroom before the photographs were displayed on a large screen, though the star's fiance, pro-wrestler David Otunga, stayed.

This is not easy for the Hudson sisters...I wonder what will become of me, if i were in their shoes.


If convicted of at least two of the murder counts, Balfour would face a mandatory life sentence.

TORNADOES IN TEXAS ON THE 3RD OF APRIL 2012

Multiple tornadoes touched down near Dallas and Fort Worth on April 3, 2012, crushing homes and sending thousands of residents running for cover.

The several powerful tornadoes in the US state of Texas, flipped trucks, wrecked homes, uprooted trees and grounded planes.

Dallas-Fort Worth Airport canceled flights and moved passengers away from glass windows for their safety.

Meteorologists estimated that six to twelve tornadoes had touched down in North Texas. Police reported several injuries but no fatalities so far.

BURIAL DATE SET FOR JAMES IROHA AKA GRINGORY

After several meetings, Saturday, May 5, 2012 has been slated for the internment of james Iroha popularly known as Gringory.
He will be buried in Abia State. James Iroha was popularly known for his role in TV series, "Masquerade". He passed away on the 28th of February 2012.
