And for those that really want to know why Multiple award-winning American singer, Beyonce Knowles featured Nigerian writer, Chimamanda Adichie in her new album, here it is.

In a chat with UK Mirror, Beyonce said she was going through videos on feminity on Youtube, when she came across this video of our Nigerian author, Chimamanda Adichie which she calls incredible.

Beyonce said her message in the album was finding the beauty in imperfection and everything Chimamanda said was exactly how she feels.

Beyonce also talked about her daughter, Blue Ivy and hubby, Jay Z, and what she is up to lately.

Before the interview ended she gave one final piece of advice to her fans, "Enjoy your life - its short. That's the message".

iPAD AIR OFFICIALLY DEBUTS IN NIGERIA

Apple’s most recent tablet, iPad Air has finally debuted in Nigeria through the company’s official representatives, Core Group Africa.

Featuring a stunning 9.7-inch Retina display in a new thinner and lighter design, the iPad Air is precision-engineered to weigh just less than 500 grams which makes it  20 percent thinner and 28 percent lighter than the fourth generation iPad.
Core Africa says that the product has already started selling in designated authorized Apple shops in Lagos and around Nigeria.

Announcing the debut of the product, Core Group Africa’s Director, Rutger-Jan van Spaandonk, said: “We are delighted to announce the official availability of iPad Air in Nigeria. iPad Air is unbelievably thin and light and we encourage customers to visit their nearest Apple Authorised Reseller to purchase or experience this life-changing product,” He said that Group Africa has appointed Apple Authorised Resellers to sell iPad Air to ensure the product is available through official channel partners. This means that customers will have peace of mind that if repair issues arise during the warranty term, their product will be repaired or replaced by an Apple Authorised Repair Centre and that they will have access to the required level of support that is mandatory for Apple Authorised Resellers.

He added that the products would be available at modest costs depending on the models.

Hello guys. Its been a very longtime...and i am so sorry...been too occupied thats just why. Yesterday i had an interesting conversation with some ladies and i decided to share it with you.

Omowunmi (not real name) was talking to us about how she almost entered "one chance" (well that was how she put it lol). He told her that he was a Christian who didn't want to sin against God and that he had made up his mind that he will have sex when they get married. She was startled as she started asking herself "where did this being come from?". Well to be honest, we rarely see men like this that will say they will wait after the wedding before they can have sex, only if there is something to be worried about.

She liked the idea to wait but Omowunmi who is not a virgin anymore says staying away would not be easy at all. This even made her more curious about the whole abstaining from sex.

 Segun who is a full time employee and Omowunmi a Masters student had little time to hang out and have fun. So one weekend like that she planned a trip with Segun who agreed to go considering the fact that they had little time for themselves. And so this trip meant a lot to them more especially to her.

The first night on the trip nothing happened as they went clubbing and were so tipsy that they fell asleep immediately they got to their hotel room. Since it was just a weekend she planned for, the second night was her only night to try her luck to play with him.

So that night everything went on well but when the play was trying to get rough he tried stopping her then she grabbed the penis and all she grabbed was his trousers and she was like "huh"? Then he pushed her backwards and she asked him if he had a penis because all the time she touched his body she expected the erection of the penis but it kept on sleeping all through. later on Segun confessed to her and said that he truly had a small PP but there was nothing wrong with him. She insisted to see it and truly he did have a small one as he shamefully showed her.

There was nothing to think about, she had already made her choice, she was not going on with the relationship and she told him bluntly and he accepted.

Months after, Omowunmi got to hear that Segun married a pretty woman and yes he also used the same gimmick he used on her on the woman too. The woman danced with so much energy thinking that she actually married a man that was sexually fit.

Cop accused of mistreating Whitney Houston’s body

A Beverly Hills cop has been accused of staring flirtatiously at Whitney Houston’s dead body and making inappropriate comments.

According to witnesses, Detective Terry Nutall looked under the sheet that covered Houston’s body and said ‘Damn, she’s still looking good, huh?’

Brian Weir a senior patrol sergeant who was at the scene said in his claims that Nutall ‘for no legitimate law enforcement inquiry, investigative, or other proper and legal purpose… removed the sheet and/or other covering from the body… to an area below the pubic region.’

A Beverly Hills spokesman has responded to the accusation saying ‘we will be looking into the allegations made in this claim, but we were not aware of any inappropriate behaviour or comments made by any officer at the scene.’

Houston died on February 11, 2012 in her room at a Beverly Hills hotel. 

Kenyan Ambassador Canvasses Collective Action against Terrorism

 

Kenyan high commissioner to Nigeria Tom Sango Amolo has called on  African leaders to collectively fight the act of terrorism in the continent.

The latest terrorist attack is in Kenya where a militant group stormed the famous Westgate shopping in Nairobi killing over sixty two and more than one hundred and seventy have been injured.

A Somali al-Shabab movement is said to have carried out the attack in retaliation for Kenyan military operations in Somalia.

Speaking to HOTFM in an exclusive interview, the high commissioner said it is no longer an individual country responsibility to combat terrorism as insecurity as taken the continent and the world at large.

"After that relationship I met somebody else and we dated for four years. We thought we were almost going to get married but it didn’t work out. I met somebody else and it didn’t work out again so I decided to just concentrate on my work. I embarked on a whole lot of projects, now I’m through with them and I think I am now ready for another. I am single and searching," she said in a chat with Toolz on the Juice.

Breaking News: Massacre in Abuja.

About 20 persons have been confirmed dead early hours of this morning by unknown uniform gunmen behind the Legislators quarters in Apo Abuja.

Eye witness account told Hot98.3fm Abuja that the shooting started about 12 midnight at an uncompleted building where homeless people live.

Most of the deceased are Keke Napep drivers, who mostly live in the uncompleted buildings that was raided by the unknown uniform men.

Ombatse Cult: President Jonathan Orders Deployment Of Troops To Nasarawa

The Federal Government has ordered immediate deployment of troops to troubled Nasarawa state. The Director, Army Public Relations Department, Brigadier General Ibrahim Attahiru, told journalists in Abuja the troops, will join the police to stem the tide of violence in the state.

The North-central state descended into chaos Friday following clashes between two ethnic groups.
An unknown number of people have died while several thousand others were displaced after their houses were razed in the violence now in its sixth day.

As commander-in-chief, President Goodluck Jonathan must approve deployment of troops to any part of the country.

Recipe: Strawberry Shortcake, Enjoy!

I have a close friend that loves this...infact she is a lover of food. And you know she is not the only one that does so i decided to post this so when you are hungry and you have the energy to prepare something. Take out time to prepare this...

Ingredients
1 3/4 cups whole-wheat pastry flour, sifted
1/4 cup all-purpose (plain) flour, sifted
2 1/2 teaspoons low-sodium baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup trans-free margarine (chilled)
3/4 cup fat-free milk (chilled)

For the topping
6 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
3/4 cup (6 ounces) plain fat-free yogurt
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, re-sift the flours, baking powder and sugar together. Using a fork, cut the chilled margarine into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add the chilled milk and stir just until a moist dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a generously floured work surface and, with floured hands, knead gently 6 to 8 times until the dough is smooth and manageable. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a rectangle 1/4-inch thick. Cut into 8 squares. Place the squares onto the prepared baking pan and bake until golden, 10 to 12 minutes.
Transfer the biscuits onto individual plates. Top each with 1 cup strawberries and 1 1/2 tablespoons yogurt. Serve immediately.

Ibinabo Stops Tribute Nights Celebrations For Departed Veterans

The President of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima has disclosed that the Guild will no longer hold Tribute Nights for the deceased actors or its dead veterans any longer. The former beauty queen revealed this recently to journalists in Lagos.

She said that it was becoming a habit in the industry to celebrate those who have put a lot into the movie industry and the entertainment industry generally after they must have gone to the world beyond, adding that she is not happy about such attitude.

Ibinabo stated this following the refusal of some members of the guild to key into her health scheme, which she promised to introduce during her inauguration in November 2012 in Lagos.

She stressed the need for actors to register for the health insurance scheme introduced by her through which they can get free treatments anywhere in Nigeria.

‘I’ll keep helping people to participate in BBA’ - Denrele Edun

Popular television presenter, Denrele Edun, has vowed to keep on providing assistance to fellow Nigerians who want to participate in the Big Brother Africa reality TV show in the future.

Reports from Nigeriafilms.com have it that the ailing music producer, Babatunde Okunbowa a.k.a OJB Jezreel has finally travelled abroad for his transplant and few days before he left, his No 4, Gbaja street, Surulere lagos flat was demolished by his landlord.

Reports have it that OJB would no longer live at the residence if he returns from India. The only building in the premises that housed OJB's home and studio was demolished by the original owners of the property. Reasons due to the fact that OJB has already packed out and the property owners decided to build more flats in the compound.
