WHITE NIGERIAN

Have you guys heard of  WHITE NIGERIAN? He is actually white and also a Nigerian. His name is  Mohammed Jammal and he is so fluent in English, Pidgin and Hausa. He is a Jos boy and he is also a fast rising musician and also very good in cracking jokes. You may want to ask me why he is white and still Nigerian? Well that story is long oooo....he even has a Nigerian Passport...LOL. His parents and grand parents are also White Nigerians, they all grew up in Jos. But as crisis reach them for that side, he, quickly came to Abuja to stay.... 

It was indeed a successful evening for the video launch for Takarawa done by White Nigerian featuring JJC on the 23rd of October 2011, at the Nu Grotto club, Abuja.His white Nigerian friends were there to support him, out numbering the black Nigerians like me. Anyways i was there live and direct with HOTFM's Shedy Kay to support this patriotic Nigerian.
White Nigerian was so happy about the turnout as he was seen grinning through out the event. Upcoming artistes were there to perform, as JJC himself was there to grace the event too.

MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL OF ABUJA

What a pageant, is all i can say ooo... the event took place on Saturday, 22nd of October 2011, at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja
Most people saw the event as a boring one, while few people thought it was just alright...Well those who spiced up the show eventually were the Big Brother's children, UTI and KAREN. They really did a great job together, trust me.

Comedian, Mr. Wahala also did a good job, mere looking at his pot belly, you just have to laugh...seriously.
Miss. Maitama emerged as Miss Abuja. Check this out.

DJ NEPTUNE

This DJ, is one of the coolest Disc Jockeys we have in Nigeria... seriously...i saw him for the first time when he came to Hot FM studio with the Master of Numbers, Naeto C... mehn, i did not recognize nor know him because he was so damn HUMBLE, he was not acting proud at all...gosh...well, during my interview with him, i had a great time....

 We all know that we have lots of Disc Jockeys in Nigeria, and some of these people do not even know the rudiments of the job, i mean the Djing thingy such as, beat per minute, tempo and the likes...Neptune confirmed it too and said that there are just few people who know whats up with these things, all i know be say E NO EASY!!! Anyways competition would be so common, having good djs like DJ Neptune, DJ Jimmy Jatt and DJ Humility and the others, it would not be easy cause everyone would be competiting to be the best.
Neptune actually said something which made me sit down to think, as he said that he on his own is UNIQUE, and true talk, i actually concur, he is so unique... A little advice guys, In anything you do, be it competition or not, just be unique on your own.

NAETO C - MASTER OF NUMBERS

Naeto C, was in Abuja a week ago. Then he travelled to Ghana, to promote his singles, "B4 Nko" and "I Gentle"...great songs, i must say...well they, i mean, his tour DJ, DJ Neptune, and his manager, Mr. Toks should be back to Nigeria today.

Naeto C, who is known as Master of Numbers, said during the interview i had with him, when he was in Abuja, Hot fm to be precise, that he was not really aware that he made use of numbers... he even said he has done songs like: 123, b4 nko, 5&6 ....Rep for 9ja and 10/10. So answer, which numbers are missing? Well do not be surprised when he does the song for the missing numbers....LOL

The 2011 Felabration came to an end on the 16th of October 2011, which happened to be the birthday of the late Afrobeat musician, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
Believe me, the event was fun...i was with the winner of the Felabration Hot Fm Promo, Blessing Obiora, who confessed that this is her first time, not only to the show, but to LASGIDI... i also enjoyed the event, because i had my home girl, HOT FM's Shedy Kay with me...

This month of OCTOBER has been a blessing and its still being blessings to most families.
First of all congrats to Mike Ezurunoye and wife who gave birth to a baby girl in Canada.
Another popular face in the movie industry is, Anita hogan who put to bed recently and had a baby girl.
Another baby goes to Queen Stephanie and footballer, Kalu Uche who welcomed their first child.The baby girl was born in the united States of America yesterday.
Yankitech, fondly called by most of his friends is the main guy behind Yankitech company in Abuja and his wife just put to bed today and delivered a baby girl.
Our very own Christiana Uka Bassey who works for Hot Fm in the Accounts Department also put to bed but to a bouncing baby boy.
 Congrats to you guys!!!

BBM WAHALA

Wahala don shele oooo...No pinging in anyway... life has become so hard without bbing as it is fondly called by bb owners of these days.
Its over two days now and i have not been able to ping or even access the browser on my phone, and i got to find out that no be only me, na everyone for the whole world. Wetin na...businesses have halted cos of this silly trouble. Right now you get to see that BB owners are still addicted, not that they are pinging but now playing games on their phones. While most people that have not been buying credits, are buying thousands just to communicate with friends and family, what can they do...
I used to think, what would become of the world if BB's are no more functioning, well i thought, people would die, but i guess its not so, as we are still alive and kicking. In as much as i don't seem bothered, at least for now sha...but na beg i dey beg, pls ooo... restore the berries oooo...

BYE BYE NAIJA

Nigeria has failed to reach the nations cup for the first time since 1986. They are officially out of the Africa cup of nations after being held to a 2-2 draw by Guinea in Abuja.
Coach Samson Siasia has apologized for the defeat and has also admitted that  they did their best in the match, but i don't think that is what the fans want to hear. As reports say, fans reacted angrily to the defeat - attacking the media tribune at the Abuja national stadium while also damaging its infracture.
I would not in anyway blame the fans at all, because these people left what they were doing to come cheer the footballers, they went through series of holdup at all junctions in the FCT, and yet what did they gain.... DEFEAT...So grateful i did not watch the match, i would have actually had a heart attack. Was at the Saloon making my hair and the hair dressers didn't seem to be interested... was disappointed though but was happy when i heard we didn't qualify, at least i didn't watch the GAME.

HENNESSY ARTISTRY

 Yippee!!! this was what i said when Eldee (na the musician wey you know ooo) told me he had two passes which he wanted to give me so i could come for the Hennessy Party which was to take place at the Aqua. Night Club in Sheraton Hotel in Abuja this last saturday, 8th October 2011.
He asked me to come collect the passes later on and gave me the address of where he was staying, but i got the message quite late and when i pinged him later to know where he was, either the venue or the initial address where i was meant to get the passes.
My pings were left unattended to, as he didnt read it early enough, so i slept off and when i woke up at 2 am, i saw the message where he told me, that he was still at the initial address and he wanted me to come pick the passes, the time he sent the message was 12:05... gosh it pained me so much sha....to cut the long story short i still didnt go for the event....mschewww
Anyways it was reported to be very interesting...i mean the party that night.
Currently in its 5th edition, Hennessy Artistry is Nigeria’s most innovative musical platform. The series was first unveiled in Nigeria in 2007. Through the years, it has evolved from a cocktail-mixing contest between renowned bartenders to a battle of DJs and now a platform for experimental collaborations among multi-talented artistes.

FELABRATION

As the musical aspect of Felabration commences on Tuesday, 11 October, 2011, Dare Art Alade a.k.a. Darey, ,Terry G, 2face , MoHit'sAll Stars  and other prominent stars are set to perform at the New Afrika Shrine, NERDC Road, Agidingbi, Ikeja , Lagos, southwest Nigeria.

 According to Yeni Anikulapo–Kuti, at least 100 music stars will be performing at the New Afrika Shrine during the week-long event which will be rounded off with a carnival around Ikeja on 15 October, 2011.

     Black Face, Ara, Skuki and other music stars namely Salvador, Sheyman Side One, Evergreen music band, Jahbless, and Klever Jay will-kick start the show on day one with Solid Stars, Morachi, Black Fist, Yeka Onka, Wacomzy, Montana and others.

   It will be the turn of Darey Art Alade on day two with the likes of Kween, Kezia Jones, Dj Zeez, Biodun Trumpet, Kennis Music All Stars, Bez, Ade Bantu, and Irishefemi.

Fuji King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal who put up a spectacular performance during last year’s edition of Felabration will return to the New Afrika Shrine on day three of the musical performance. He will be playing alongside Abass Akande Obesere a.k.a. PK1st Excite band, Ayetoro, Whiz Kid, Banky W., Djinee, Mocheddah and others.

    Yeni said Sule Alao Malaika, Duncan Mighty, Tiwa Savage, Eldee, Durella, Rock Steady and others will be part of the show. 

Felabration was conceived by Yeni Anikulapo Kuti in 1997 to commemorate, laud, revel and fete the music icon Fela Anikulapo Kuti. This said historical event held every every October to coincide with the anniversary of Fela’s birth [October 16^th]. 

The said annual festival of music, culture, arts and debates celebrating an African achiever has attracted world renowned personalities such as Hugh Masakela, Carlos Moore, Late Lucky Dube- It has now become an international showpiece with visitors coming from all over the world.

Hot 98.3 FM Abuja is making it possible for one lucky listener to be flown to Lagos. He or she would attend the Felabration Musical Festival taking place from the 10th-15th of October 2011. Listen to Hot 98.3FM on Monday to know who the lucky person is.

RHYTHM UNPLUGGED

The annual Rhythm Unplugged held on the 7th of October 2011, Thisday Dome, Abuja was 'da bomb'....no be bomb blast i mean oooo....na good show i mean sha.
Well despite the fact that the show was meant to begin at 7pm on the dot.. hmmm na lie, this one pass African time sef...e begin 9:30, but i got there with a colleague, 10pm and was told i didn't miss anything tho....but my guy GT da Guitarman had already performed, which was so painful to me...gosh that guy is so blessed in terms of good voice. Well of course i sat down at the VIP seats with my HOTFM crew...#plsnobeef#...lol..
The show was hosted by Lagos and Abuja RHYTHM on air personalities, I.K (wild child) and MALTIDA DUNCAN. Their hosting performances were....hmmmm....they try, i was feeling wild child though, Maltida wasn't the crazy person i knew her to be, she was quiet and speaking plenty English jare... but it was alright.
The performances by our entertainment peeps were so wonderful. GT da Guitarman, Retta, Tiwa Savage, D'Prince, M.I, Jesse Jaggs, Wizkid, Brymo, Funny Bones, I go die, Seyi law, White Nigerian, Wande Coal, Duncan Mighty...etc. those who couldn't make it to the show were, Basket mouth and Ice prince....On ice prince's twitter page, he disclosed that he just got back from only God knows where... well his album launch, ELI (Everybody loves Ice prince)  will take place at the Eko Hotel Suites in lagos. I wish i could be there but work will not permit me#sad#...Back to the show, the show ended at 3:30AM, i got home 4AM tired, didn't even bother going for the after party at Aqua, cos i felt i had already done my own after party watching these stars.
